can I also add that you would be mistaken to view the actions of the
Howard government as a reflection of the desires of the Australian
media/content/technology industry.
(this should be pretty self evident, but in response to the 'Lack of
Education' option above, I wanted to be clear that it is lack of
Government education, not lack of industry and industry education)
I suspect it's more a reflection of the current conservative
government, lack of understanding/education/interest in the future of
the media and technology and stronghanded direction from heavyweight
traditional media influences who are still trying to get their heads
around how to stay afloat in this new environment.
oh, and please.... Fosters?
I've never met and Australian who drinks Fosters. You've just bought
into an extensive advertising campaign.
Why drink Fosters when you can drink Coopers?
