Brief Job Description:

Coordinate weekly email programs and day-to-day website maintenance.
Build consistent messaging across website and all email products
including email marketing campaigns and transactional messages. Improve
relevancy and targeting of email messages. Work with partners to create
special offers and promotions. Track email and website metrics.


Responsibilities:

* Coordinate email schedule for airline and partner promotions across
multiple campaigns.

* Implement weekly and monthly customer email campaigns.

* Write email content with a focus on creative messages that deliver
high response rates.

* Create a library of informational, destination and entertainment
content pieces for emails and website.

* Provide general day-to-day maintenance of website with other team
members.

* Work with partners to generate relevant special offers and promotions
for use in targeted messaging via email and website.

* Gather and analyze email campaign metrics; make recommendations on
targeting and relevancy for future campaigns.

* Monitor and report on competitor and other best of breed email
programs.

 
Requirements:

* Minimum 2 years experience in consumer email marketing and consumer
e-commerce websites.

* Copywriting samples and portfolio required.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Knowledge of statistics and multivariate and A/B testing.

* Attention to detail, strong proofreading skills, ability to meet short
deadlines.

* Strong eye for design.

* Experience building wire frames or designing email and web page
layouts.

 
Preferred Skills:

* Bachelors degree.

* Knowledge of the travel industry.
