My trouble with "thought leadership" as a concept is that it usually
comes across as arrogance mixed with more or less cluelessness. Tim
has done some good work, fine, kudos where due, but let's face it, his
claim to have invented the web is only true for a given value of true.

I suppose that I think of him in much the same way I think of Jakob -
a respected uncle who has done a lot of good in the past but is prone
to breaking wind at the dining table. We love them all the same, but
sometimes they can be a little embarrassing :)
