Hi there,

The text we used for a participatory design class at utoronto was:

Design at Work, by Joan Greenbaum and Morten Kyng
http://portal.acm.org/citation.cfm?coll=GUIDE&dl=GUIDE&id=125470

It's a bit old, but covers the concepts well through detailed case
studies of large scale projects.

good luck!

Ken

Hi,

What books, papers, publications and websites would you recommend if
one has
to know more about participatory design.

There are obviously a lot of recommendations on the internet, but my
intent
behind posting the query here is to know what prescriptive advice has
really
worked in the field (your experience) and prioritize my reading list.

thx and regs,
Yogesh Tadwalkar
