Full time Position: Knowledge Resource Team
Coordinator
Location: Perkins Eastman, NYC

Founded in 1981, Perkins Eastman is one of the largest
Architectural firms in New York City with clients

respected institutions including New York Hospital,
Cornell University, General Motors, Holiday Inn, New
York University and many others. Perkins has over 600

firm also has additional subsidiaries dealing in
related businesses.

The Knowledge Management Coordinator will partner with
the Knowledge Resource Team to implement and oversee
the Knowledge Management systems. The Knowledge
Management Coordinator works to imbed knowledge
sharing into the culture and key business processes of
Perkins Eastman Architects in order to improve
organizational effectiveness in areas of:

• Standardized processes
• Knowledge capture and transfer
• Marketing Facilitation
• Creativity and Innovation, leveraging best practices
• Competitive advantage, enable quick response


Key Responsibilities: (other duties may be assigned)

• Partner to implement and maintain the integrity of
the global KM systems and knowledge sharing networks
• Develop standardized methods for automating
processes, documenting processes and maintaining KM
systems
• Evaluate and enhance sources and methods for
capturing Practice Area knowledge, staff expertise,
and relevant industry information
• Facilitate creation of Practice Area Communities
• Work with Practice Area Communities, internal
Committees and various internal disciplines including
Marketing, Human Resources, Information Technology,
etc. to create an internal infrastructure that
supports knowledge sharing
• Determine and evaluate processes and workflows used;
identify critical information needed during each stage
of processes
• Continuously assess staff needs and incorporate
feedback into processes and knowledge management
system
• Document workflow, map processes, and perform needs
analysis and reporting
• Provide KM systems analysis
• Facilitate use of KM systems through training and
support programs
• Develop training programs on the KM systems and lead
training sessions
• Write training and support materials for the KM
systems
• Manage Project Fact Sheet document and processes
• Research, document, and archive past projects
• Create Intranet spaces, in partnership with
stakeholders
• Edit submissions for intranet posting
• Coordinate and post content on intranet
• Other miscellaneous administrative tasks as
necessary


Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree required
• Motivated by a fast-paced environment, possessing
the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build
rapport
• Energetic, intelligent and positive attitude
• Experience using creativity and imagination to
generate unique solutions to business issues
• Entrepreneurial, self-starter with strong analytic
and research skills
• Strong communication, presentation and listening
skills are a must
• Strong team player and partnership spirit;
• Basic understanding of knowledge management concepts
and methodologies
