Agree. I know at least one web developer whose job description requires him
to man the reception phones in the afternoon. There will always be a mashup
of roles, be it IA/usability/interaction, IA/Business Analyst, etc.

We've seen that designing websites with an architecture determined by roles
usually doesn't work, so why should it work with mailing lists?
