I wouldn't blankly say it's not how people shop. I found it to be pretty
slick and why not present ways to do things differently?
It's funny how you would say that when a designer presents something
that is different than what is expected he is on an ego trip

Really? I find that horizontal scrolling to find anything to be
extremely annoying and not how people shop. It seemed more like a Flash
designer's ego trip than a shopping experience.
