NYC Usability Professionals Association presents:
Beyond Usability:  It's Not Just the Interface

The presentation will cover how offline work impacts 
technology,interplays with client dynamics and informs online usability 
issues. You will find out why you can't just look at online usability, 
but also must consider whether your work has improved upon the off-line 
lives of users. The presentation will cover methods and solutions and 
case studies of well-known clients.

Following the presentation, there will be time allotted for a lively Q & A.

We are seeking a senior Information Architect/User Experience Designer  
who can draw from several years of experience with user-centered design 
principles to work with end users, product development and engineering 
to create compelling and complex web applications and websites.  The 
IA/UE Designer will be responsible for ensuring that our web-based 
software is intuitive, efficient, compelling, and formulated to achieve 
the goals of each of our four online entities.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree
A minimum of 6 years experience, at least 4 of which have been focused 
on interaction design and usability Experience producing functional 
design and user experience deliverables, including:
o       wireframes/navigational prototypes
o       site maps
o       workflows and story boards
o       use cases
o       functional specifications
