[Sigia-l] user experience governance models?

Hi there,

In large companies there are often many different departments building 
software independently. I'm looking for instances where organizations 
have successfully instituted global user experience guidelines, 
requirements or standards.

Some questions I'm particularly interested in: Who was responsible for 
creating and supporting the process? How detailed were the 
guidelines/standards and how far reaching were they? How 
aggressive/empowered was the enforcement? How long did the process take 
to really get traction in the organization?
