While we are doing definition bingo... :) I would like to explore the meaning of
collaboration in IA, being part of but not leading an IA team at the moment.
Some starter questions:
What does collaboration mean if not design by committee?
Is consultation enough to preserve the appearance of collaboration?
Can there be true collaboration with a final arbiter (granted that there always
is a final arbiter, if only time and budget constraints in the absence of a
structured process)?
Does the final arbiter need to be part of the IA team for it to be a
collaborative design effort?

I have my own thoughts on each of these but as I know what I know already, I am
very interested in what everyone else thinks.

Cheers, Andrew
