And the "iPod team" almost certainly had a PM, a secretary, cleaning crew,
an accountant or two, too.

Let's take another approach here.

What *problem* was the iPod designed to solve, for Apple?

To create new on screen battery icons? Labels on the hardware buttons? Does
it really matter, in the grand scheme of things, who implemented the visual
presentation of the battery icons, as eye-pleasing as they may be?

The iPod turned AAPL from a $5 billion to a $60+ billion company in three
years.

You think this happened because of graphic designers creating new icons?
