(Goodness knows that the last thing I want to do is get involved in
yet-another-SIGIA-definition-debate, but here it goes...)
I've dealt a lot with this for the last few years, primarily as an advisor
to Consumer Reports WebWatch ( http://www.consumerwebwatch.org )
In my world, trust and credibility are two sides of the same things. Trust
belongs to the source whereas credibility belongs to the object.
Inotherwords, "I trust you because you are credible to me."
You can't have one without the other, as far as I'm concerned.
The thing about implementation is that they are very related to context. I
may trust Amazon to deliver good service, but do I trust them to deliver
the product by the date I need it? Amazon can be both credible and
un-credible (incredible?) simultaneously because of the context.
