Tomorrow is the end of early registration for the IA Summit next month in
Vancouver, but quite honestly the difference in price between early and late
registration is quite unremarkable.

For example, the Summit itself goes from $375 for members of various
organization to just $450. Not a steep raise at all. AND
the IxD Symposium (organized by IxDA) goes from $500 to $575 for a full day
workshop with the likes of Kim Goodwin (Cooper) and Luke Wroblewski (Yahoo &
Functioning Form).

IxDA is incredibly excited about putting together this very practical
day-long workshop that helps contextualize the importance of IxD to the IA
practice. As more and more of the web space takes on higher fidelity
interactions, as the economy of the web progressives even further to the
transaction, participation, and collaboration around information instead of
its pure consumption, core ideas of Interaction Design--flow, context,
dialog, and rhythm--are required by IAs to understand and master, as they
design complete user experiences.

For details about the symposium, check out the splash page here:

Whether at the symposium itself or at the rest of the Summit, we hope to see
a good number of our community in Vancouver from March 23-27. I know I'm
looking forward to it!

If you have any questions at all about the IA Summit or the pre-conference
IxD Symposium, please do not hestitate to contact me.
