That's a bit of a strange proposition. It certainly renders all my
work "wrong"; I'm a usability person who most *definitly* design
stuff. Are you sure you're not trying to piss people off by drawing
too strong lines in the sand?

Again you're saying that as a designer I shouldn't involve myself in
stuff I do on a daily basis. Why? Are you aware that synergy is a
wonderful means for a design process, and is as much a creator of
*new* things as starting with a blank piece of paper? :)

I'm a bit baffled though, because you're implying here that anyone
working for someone else, unless they've got complete freedom to do
whatever crazy-arsed thing they want, they're doing it wrong, that is
must fail, that there is nothing inheritly good in other peoples ideas
and directions. In other words, that constraints, coming from others,
render you worthless as a designer. That's crazy talk, you know.
