Surely, there's some novelty in the application of the WIMP metaphor in this
particular context.

But let me put it to you this way: would you use the same WIMP metaphor to
market, um, cheese, women's lingerie or spa vacations? How about an
"unfilmable" eighteenth-century literary classic movie adaptation?

So, is it OK to mix metaphors? :-)
