[Sigia-l] Persuasion Architecture is topic at 4/18 Women in Digital Journalism meeting

Marianne Sweeny, Producer/IA at Microsoft,  will give a presentation on "Persuasion Architecture" - structuring websites so visitors quickly get to the information they want -at a meeting sponsored by Women in Digital Journalism on Tuesday April 18. 

Marianne will examine persuasion architecture and its components: 

*    information behavior

*    emerging trends in information architecture

*    navigation

*    search [now and later]

*    and maybe Web 2.0

Marianne Sweeny also performs IA and search optimization through her company Daedalus Information Systems and works as a web producer at Microsoft. She completed her Masters of Library and Information Science in 2005 with a focus on information behavior and search.
