INFORMATION ARCHITECT NEEDED!
 
Join the Dynamic Diagrams team and help create new ways to visualize complex
information!  We have a full-time, permanent position available in our
studio for an information design professional with proven experience in
information architecture, usability, and communications.
 
-- About the position:  Your primary responsibility will be to gather and
analyze the information that underpins our sophisticated web site designs
and visual explanations.  Typical project activities include:  interviewing
stakeholders; investigating audience, business, and technical requirements;
conducting competitive product reviews; developing wireframes and
visualization concepts; writing documentaiton and communication copy; and
otherwise building the framework for successful information products. 
Working with our design team, you will help turn concepts into diagrams,
interface designs, and visual explanations.  You will also act as a project
manager, creating project plans, schedules and budgets, and serving as
project liaison with clients.  
 
-- About you:  You have an in-depth knowledge and demonstrated experience in
information architecture, business analysis, marketing strategy, interaction
design, or a related field.  You are an analytical yet creative thinker, who
can study copmlicated problems and develop innovative solutions with visual
portential.  You are flexible, self-directed, able to multitask, and good at
time management.  You have solid written and verbal communciation skills,
and know how to translate project objectives into tangible results.  You are
good at consensus-building, and can work well as part of a close-knit team
of creative and technical staff.
