We have an immediate opening for a senior level Information
Architect/Designer. We offer work on business-to-business websites and
web applications for a variety of regional and global clients in the
areas of energy, technology and healthcare.

We offer a dynamic environment where you'd be working with other
creative and multidisciplinary team members to create smart, innovative
solutions for our customers. Our creative and yet technically savvy work
environment will require you to be well-versed in both information
architecture and visual design.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Working closely with clients to help define target audiences' needs
and other motivating factors and translate them into concepts for
compelling interactions and experiences
* Building navigation models, sitemaps, process flows, wireframes, and
prototypes that account for multiple users and varying circumstances,
and that help communicate and demonstrate strategies to clients
* Designing for websites, interactive demos, and web applications 
* Collaborating with team members [that may or may not be outsourced]
who will include: project manager, technical architect, account
executive, and other designers and programmers
* Contributing to prospective client pitch efforts
* Participating in discovery interviews and documenting client
requirements
* Conducting competitive audits and market research
* Developing user personas and scenarios to clarify results of user
research and focus the team's design efforts on the needs of key users

Your qualifications will include:

* Detailed knowledge of user experience best practices
* A strong attention to detail and exceptional organization, logic and
analytical skills
* The ability to ask appropriate questions and communicate effectively
to a broad range of people: designers, executives, business development
and technical staff
* Experience in developing interactive products with an interactive
agency (5+ years or equivalent for consideration)
* Proficiency in a variety of design tools such as Visio, InDesign,
Illustrator, or Photoshop, as well as the MS Office suite
* Strong understanding of Internet technologies (DBs, e-commerce,
client-server, and front-end technologies like HTML, JavaScript, DHTML,
and CSS), as well as hands-on experience
* Demonstration of successful experiences working with and presenting to
clients
* Demonstration of ability to communicate effectively in written form;
design documents, flow charts, graphs, etc.
* Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
* A passion for follow-through and the determination to make
recommendations even though they may not seem like the "easiest way to
go"
* Understanding of time-management and the ability to meet deadlines
