Hi,

I work at Linden Lab and we're looking for a Usability Expert. The job

I'll copy a bit here to tell you about us and what we do. I was at the
recent IASummit, where I heard about this list. I figured I delurk with this
post and maybe join in some threads as I get used to the list vibe.

The Role:
We are seeking a Usability Expert that isn't afraid of code but isn't
necessarily an engineer to work on the Second Life UI. If you are interested
in everything and eager to immerse yourself in unfamiliar territory, this
just might be the thing for you.

Responsibilities:
* Gather user requirements, design user task flows, design conceptual
mockups, conduct design reviews
* Work closely with software engineers, product managers, artists, technical
writers, quality assurance to design product interfaces
* Assess overall 'user story' of Second life, and develop a Design
Philosophy for interaction, and a Style Guide for developers to follow
* Conduct usability tests and improve the product based on the feedback
* Develop User Interaction and UI using our in-house data-driven tools, and
help the developers in the design of the API of these tools
