Contract-to-Staff; On-site only.
Job Description
· Gather and write web site requirements and produce standard
information architecture documentation including, but not limited to:
o Site Maps
o Navigation Systems employing usable nomenclature and taxonomy
o Process Flows (i.e. registration etc.)
o Page Schematics
o Functional Specifications
· Communicate and negotiate user-centered principles within a
project team.
· Work closely with graphic designers, developers, and a
product manager.
· Propose original ideas to add to projects.
Qualifications
· Must be able to work in Adobe Illustrator
· Minimum one year experience and work samples
· Excellent writing skills
· Ability to pleasantly and effectively communicate in meetings
· General familiarity with most programming languages and
internet technologies
· Learn quickly and want to learn more
· Enjoy reading usability literature for professional development
· Work and play well with others
· College degree
· Love the internet
Plusses
· Academic or professional experience with online social
communities +/or the age 14 - 18 demographic.
