I am sure that we've all been PAID at some stage to create innovative 
solutions to non-problems, or at least what we have seen as 
non-problems. I would define "problem" in this instance as "what the 
client sees as a problem that really isn't and I cannot reasonable 
convince them is a non-issue without holding a gun to their head".

The apocryphal Pointy Haired Boss who wants a purple database because 
they go faster is a classic example.
