[Sigia-l] Card sorting? Why?

Hi, Stewart,

I agree with you-it's about usage first--wand ords are the vehicle to 
identify  the usage.

I've always been a bit wary of card-sorting, though as an 
exercise for students  my web writing classes (who are mostly content 
editors), it shows up very starkly the differences in thinking and 
recognition.

What about card sorting TASKS? Or general TYPES of information?

I'll be interested in what others think about this-glad you brought it 
up.
