Jared M. Spool:

> The tool shouldn't be condemned as much as the skills of the people using it.

Except when the tool itself impedes the enterprise of those using it. The
canonical example of this is the security design and architecture of an OS
called Windows and the necessary "skills" required to keep it
semi-functional in daily use. When the OS vendor actually condemns the
ability and willingness of its users in keeping up with the constant
patching dance they are required perform, some injustice has been rendered,
I'd say. (That the said vendor will be selling security protection software
is something that ought to be considered under the RICO act.) Don't get me
started on PowerPoint.:-)
