The Masters of Science in Technical Communication
Program at the University of Colorado - Denver has
recently received a grant to develop a Certificate of
Usability Studies. We are interested in a preliminary
discussion with organizations that may be doing
electronically-mediated design and wish to train
workers in the areas of human factors and usability.
If you have this desire to train workers in usability
and would like to discuss ways to collaborate with us
as we develop our program, please contact me at
urbann_animals at yahoo.com.

Please note that we are also considering offering some
or most of this curriculum via online format. (We are
currently conducing a feasability study of this that
you may access at
http://comm.cudenver.edu/mstcsurvey.html) . If we
determine that it is fiscally and logistically
possible for us to offer our curriculum online, then
this might provide an attractive option for
organizations located outside the US who need training
for workers. In addition, some of our faculty have
expertise in international electronic communication
and so this area would not be entirely new to us.

Thank you for your time.
