[Sigia-l] is it just me, or is it really hard to find IAs right now?

hey all!

just wanted to offer a freelancer's perspective.

i have over 9 years of experience and i live in la. i am finding it
extremely difficult to find work that is commensurate with both my
rate and skill level. i am flexible on my rate, and grateful i can
be, but am finding that i'm still overqualified for most positions.

i know it's a bit more expensive, but have you thought about hiring
ia's to either work remotely or travel for the duration of the
contract?

i think the quality of the work you will get by hiring someone that
can do the job will far outweigh the cost.

i, and many other ia's that i know are willing to travel for a contract.
