Oh no, don't give away the secret! :-)
Spot on. A good programmer is trained, nay, instinctively inclined to
rapidly parse potentialities, exceptions, boundaries, categories, etc to not
only see how low-level stuff interact but also how at higher-levels of
abstraction major pieces come together. This is a great asset in both
understanding complex stuff and reducing complexity.
