There had been repeated attempts on this list trying to come up with a
pragmatic distinction between information and data. But all fizzled.

Since IAs cannot pragmatically distinguish information from data, they
are forced to treat data as information. That flies in the face of
their own claim that information is not data.

Can you point us to the information, which is not data, that the
transformation produced?
