[Sigia-l] Distributed folksonomy

Dear all:

I thought people on this list might be interested in and willing to  
comment on a new xhtml microformat, xFolk 0.4, for distributed  
folksonomy.  The basic idea is that people can now publish their  
bookmark data independently in a way that is open to accumulation by  
potentially a large number of aggregators, in essence more broadly  
distributing their bookmark information.

Some people might wonder, well why not just use del.icio.us.  Well,  
the fact of the matter is that del.icio.us clones such as scuttle.org  
and de.lirio.us are springing up everywhere allowing people and  
organizations to create their own bookmark repositories.  xFolk  
allows these repositories to cross-communicate.  Here's the link to
