It would be...except that it would be impossible. How can you possibly gauge
that without reference to the content and the audience. That would be like
asking, in the abstract, after how many seconds people stop watching TV
programs as they channel surf. You may have an aggregate stat, but what the
heck does that tell you? It all depends on who you are and what you're
looking for. People go to great lengths to find, download and watch what
they like. I might exert zero effort to watch anything related to, say, Brad
Pitt free or otherwise, but you might actually get inline and pay to see
him. These kinds of abstract "facts" are corrosive.
