[Sigia-l] IA/UCD Resources in the DC Metro

Does anyone know of any good resources for a entry level IA/UCD
professional in the DC Metro. I am looking for classes (George Mason is
close to work,so that is prefered), organizations to join, etc. I
realize that I could do a lot of the leg work for this myself (and I
have done some), however, recommendations speak so much better than an
organization's  marketing materials.

Additionally, I am also looking for more reading materials. If have read
a good book lately on UCD/IA please let me know.
