I think the article did say this though.  Just saying don't take a  
canned best practice as a universal best practice, instead, take what  
you can from it given your situation and circumstance.

I do think that is hard sometimes though.  Like recently I did some  
research on breadcrumbs.  Found many good arguments for and against.
