In an industry that seeks to develop, adopt, and enforce guidelines
intended to improve the quality of our products, I would hate to see
us go back to the anarchistic days of the mid-90s.
When I drive in a strange city, I like knowing that there is general
agreement as to which side of the road well drive on. For me, the
thrill of uncertainty does not enhance the user experience.
