Hello Dave,

Are you using the Flash Paper 2?  

You general characterization is correct: We are optimized for web display
for documents, Acrobat is a much more general purpose platform for
everything from pre-press to forms to portable documents to web display.  I
think if you are using one of these technologies to display a formatted,
printable, zoomable page(s) through a browser, FlashPaper is so much lighter
weight and faster it is a good choice to consider.  But FlashPaper is not a
replacement by any means for the other 80% of things that Acrobat does :)
That said, Flash Paper 2 is much more functional than the first version
(text seach, bookmarks, etc) so if you are not using that I suggest you take
a look.
