[Sigia-l] Google Maps

OK, my colleagues are laughing at me this morning because I am HOOKED. They
are asking me what days my Googlers Anonymous meetings are.

In response to Ziya's question about what is impressive, I like the
interactivity and detail. I sent Google a recommendation to be able to
"search within" popup boxes on the driving directions search (e.g. show me
all restaurants at exit 111 of I-85) when I'm driving between Atlanta and
Raleigh. And, I'm wondering when I can get this on my phone.

Not to be outdone, a colleague pointed me to A-9's "block view" map
capabilities. They've gone around and photographed cities so that you can
see the streetscape of the area you're searching. Not all cities are
covered, but it's still a neat idea!
