what if you offered a benefit for that effort -- now that you have their
data in structured format, you can format it in many different styles and
pretty print it to look like a resume. Also, let them download it in XML
format so they can upload it themselves elsewhere.

Hmmm ... you could even recast the data entry to be a for a different
purpose: instead "enter your resume details so we have it in structured
form", have "build your own resume, format it the way you want using our 100
templates".

I haven't updated my resume document in years, but I have filled out details
at LinkedIn. If I needed an el-quicko resume I can copy/paste what LinkedIn
pretty-formats for me.
