[Sigia-l] Content management software recommendation?

Hi Dariane,

IBM's ILWWCM can do everything that you mention.

That said, it does cost a fair bit of money, and this can only be
justified by a fairly large installation. The last place that we helped
install it has an organisation-wide deal with IBM for a lot of software
so ILWWCM didn't cost them any extra - and thus it was one of the main
contenders. The installation and migration of existing data went well,
and the client organisation is pleased with the result.

At another site, where we did a CMS assessment and recommendation based
on their needs (smaller site, no great scalability need forseeable,
stated preference for Open Source) we recommended Typo3, which has also
been quite successful.

So, like the man said, 'it all depends'. :)

Best regards, Andrew
