[Sigia-l] Spamming this list

Ok, I've tried to ignore it, but I'm afraid I can't anymore.  I've had
enough and I have to say something.  

For months now some members (I won't name the individual) have
contributed nothing but self-promotional spam to this list.  This noise
needs to stop.  It dilutes the value of this list, and it will
eventually encourage others to likewise post their not-so-thinly-veiled
advertisements.  

Most of us have something to sell.  But so blatantly treating this list
as your own marketing vehicle is crass and insulting.  Please stop.
