I'm looking for examples of how to layout the table of contents for
journals.

Some examples I've found so far:

http://www.dlib.org/dlib/october05/10contents.html
http://www.upassoc.org/upa_publications/jus/index.html
http://bioinformatics.oxfordjournals.org/current.dtl
http://www.nature.com/ncb/journal/v7/n12/index.html
http://www.ingentaconnect.com/content/klu/gein/2009/00000007/00000003
http://www.molecular-cancer.com/start.asp
http://jme.bmjjournals.com/content/vol31/issue12/
http://www.educause.edu/er/erm05/erm056.asp?bhcp=1

Which do you find easiest to browse? Do you know any other examples which
are designed/styled more attractively?
