Well, most sites drop a cookie, Google / Flickr / Yahoo included. But
I think the main point of my argument is that I'm a blogger, and do
things the blogging way, which is RSS feeds, and click links if they
sound good enough. That means I don't visit their site to hear about
their stuff, so to me (and I assume other bloggers out there) it isn't
working. As more and more people are becoming bloggers ... things
change.

Macadamia nuts in themselves are marvelous, though! I love them! I
didn't even know about their existance before I moved to Australia.

Well, nothing is universally bad; it's all very contextual. To me, I
register gladly if a service is offered, but rarely for just news and
tidbits.
