Is this 2004? The Gmail privacy issue is a long forgotten story. There is no
significant protest against it today even from privacy organisations. No
one's "horrified" anymore. It was a misunderstanding emerging from people's
dim understanding of how Google scanned emails.

Even the negative news coverage that Google gets these days make no mention
of the Gmail privacy episode (the points they raise are just as flimsy). See
