[Sigia-l] Indian summers?

This is so tempting!! India in the summer means luscious mangoes &
water-melon, trees laden with color, cool ices, endless yoghurt drinks, and
intense heat. Unlike the story in the link where they are talking about the
power-cuts in Delhi/ Gurgaon, my city Ahmedabad has excellent power supply.
I haven't been home for more than two years now, but would really like to
know from IAs working in India about the job scene there: who are the better
employers, the nature of projects done, etc. Anyone?
