Well, either Jakob's already got the contract or someone at Amazon took that
Alertbox a bit too seriously.

Amazon just launched a quick makeover of its product page, redesigning the
product info part above the fold and completely removing the left bar that
contained features such as recently viewed items, "So you'd like to..."
guides and promotions of other Amazon stores. This gives more screen space
to editorial and customer reviews.
