Missed the IA Summit? Attended and want to continue the discussion?

INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE SUMMIT 2005 REDUX

DC's local IA group, DCIA, is hosting a Summit redux. Come hear about
this year's big ideas. Who shared a great case study? Who threw down
the gauntlet? What are genres, content models and pattern languages?
Where is IA headed?

We are happy to have this year's Summit chairperson, Stacy Surla, to
provide a brief introduction. Local IAs have volunteered to report on
Summit presentations. We will introduce the Summit's major themes with
three panel discussions:

1) Big Ideas and New Technologies
Moderated by Dan Brown and Neal Johnson

2) Content Management, Metadata and Controlled Vocabularies
  Moderated by James Melzer

3) Business and Enterprise IA
  Moderated by Vera Rhoads

Light refreshments will be served.
A small cover of $5.00 will be charged at the door.

Saturday, April 9
10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Bethesda Public Library, 7400 Arlington Road, Bethesda, MD 20814
[http://www.montgomerycountymd.gov/Apps/Libraries/branchinfo/be.asp]

PLEASE RSVP. Although it's not necessary to RSVP to attend, it allows
us to get a head count for food.
