straw poll around the home office (they got ten seconds to look at the 
page and tell me what they thought the page was about) here was:
- it's a photo site (the name is Snap and there's a photo on the page)
- it's an online shop of some sort - there's a product list

Both respondents (sane rational adults and both regular web users) were 
surprised when told that it was a search engine.

Not saying that it is a failure, but, well.... the guy might have a 
little ways to go to grab the casual referred browsers who can't figure 
out what he is "selling" in the time it would take them to get bored 
with it and leave.  :)
