Consider who the user is in a specific context. 

Being written in the prevailing langauge of the page is catering to the very people who need it least.

Anglo user reading Anglo page with a Danish link to Danish conten. Worst case: 
"What's that? Looks foreign. I'll ignore it and keep reading..."

i.e. No loss, just some confusion.


The users who really need it are those who read (what is that? Dutch?). They may not be able to read *anything* else on the page except that link.

Danish user reading Anglo page with an Anglo link to Danish content. Worst case:
"Arge. This ENTIRE page is Anglo. My friende told me it has a Danish translation. If only somewhere on this page there was a link to Danish content!"

i.e. Total failure.
