Information Architect positions in Saint Paul, MN. Please see position

Lead Information Architect

Information Delivery Systems/User Experience
Reports to: User Experience Manager

Candidates will have the following skills:

·     4+ years of work experience, including at least two years as an
Information Architect
·     Two or more years of experience in a web development environment,
either with an agency or in-house. Experience working with large sites or
in the financial services industry is a plus.
·     Proven ability to coordinate the work of peers on large projects.
·     Demonstrated understanding of and proficiency in leveraging an
industry-standard development methodology, such as the Rational Unified
Process.
·     Ability to mentor/coach less experienced Information Architects
·     Experience working with strategists and business analysts to
translate business requirements and use cases into value-added deliverables
for developers.
·     Candidate should be competent in the software tools of his/her trade.
(e.g., ClearCase, ClearQuest, Requsite Pro, Photoshop, Visio, Homesite,
etc.)

Job responsibilities include:
·     Act as the user experience lead on internal project teams, with
responsibility for ensuring projects meets U.S. Bancorp's enterprise
standards while satisfying user desires.
·     Evangelize the user to a fault at all stages of the development
process.
·     Lead by example with the use of U.S. Bancorp's process and
development methodologies.
·     Participate in the planning of  usability tests and other research.
·     Distill collected business/content requirements into focused,
understandable and actionable deliverables (storyboards, user assessments,
navigation diagrams, wireframes, etc.).
·     Assist in the ongoing definition of U.S. Bancorp's evolving user
experience standards.
·     Manage relationships with vendors and partners.
·     Represent U.S. Bancorp in a positive and professional manner
internally and externally at all times.
