Macromedia Strategic Services: User Experience Designer

 

The Macromedia Strategic Services Team is seeking a skilled and creative
user experience designer who can work with customers and other team members
to design and implement innovative user interfaces on short-term development
efforts focused on Macromedia's product line.  You will have the opportunity
to work with early adopters of rich user interface technology, design and
implement next-generation of Web UIs and promote adoption of emerging
Macromedia technologies.  We are looking for a highly motivated, creative
and experienced individual to help us redefine what the web can be.

 

 

Responsibilities

-         Work with Macromedia customers and partners to design solution
based experiences that demonstrate the 

potential of the Macromedia MX architecture and Rich Internet Applications
delivered using Macromedia Flash. 

-         Work closely and collaboratively with customers and the SWAT team
to create compelling applications that demonstrate the capabilities of
Macromedia products. 

-         Design usable and compelling interfaces that effectively
demonstrate the power and value of the Rich Internet Application experience,
and help establish "best practices" using this new technology.

-         Participate in business development efforts with customers and
partners.

-        Offer wide-ranging user experience support during prototype and
application development. 

 

 

Requirements

-           A strong background in user interface design and development.

-           Proven ability to create functional and usable graphical user
interfaces. 

-           Self-motivated, independent thinker.

-           Macromedia Flash and ActionScript experience required;
JavaScript or ECMA Script also a plus.

-           Excellent communication and customer relationship skills. 

-           Ability to conceptualize the structure and functionality of a
client-server application. 

-           Portfolio of previous Macromedia Flash projects. 

-           Up to 25% travel.
