: Can anyone point me to sites where the 'primary' organisation
: scheme is alphabetical? Not dictionaries please, and I don't want to
: know about A-Z indexes that are used for secondary nav methods.
I did that search a year or so ago and there were very little examples. I
found a good one by accident searching for guitar tabs: http://www.olga.net/
They have changed the site since and now there are two main categories to
choose from before you get to the A-Z index.
I noticed this happened because they do more things now than just provide
guitar tabs (a trend). If you Google guitar tabs and chords, you will see
many sites under that model - the really basic ones still keep the a-z index
as the primary navigation, but as soon as they add any new service to the
site, the navigation is replaced by an almost template-like solution of
"tabs index | service 2 | service 3 | about us | contact" etc...
This site shows a bit better how OLGA used to be (it's a mirror)
