[Sigia-l] Definitions and descriptions of 'information architecture'

Hi all

I know that this kind of question has been on the list several times
and that a lot of you are tired of it, but I am now asking it for a
specific reason.

I am a ph.d. candidate doing my disertation on different aspects of IA.
I am now interested in getting all kinds of definitions and descriptions
of 'information architecture' - both as komponents of interactive
media and as a process.

I would appreciate if you could send me a description of how you
define, explain and use the term 'information architecture'.
