Hi Michael -
We used WebSort for a project. the WebSort folks put in an initial page we
used for instructional text. They also have a flash demo option for those
who wanted to see it in action.
We used a company with an online panel to recruit. The people on the panel
are more used to doing online surveys, so this was a little different for
them. However, they may be more technically inclined due to their
willingness to be on the panel. We got the participation we needed and only
a couple of people appeared to bail during the process - and that could be
for any reason.
So - it may depend more on your target user base, but we didn't feel there
was any problem with the usability of the tool for our project.
